This recipe is the tortilla soup we have had at Lisa's house. Very good and easy!

  1. Heat margarine and oil in a pan. Saute onion, jalapeno, garlic, carrots, celery and chicken. Cook for 5 minutes. Combine the dry ingredients. Stir into pot and add tomatoes, broth and hot sauce. Simmer for an hour. Garnish with sour cream, avocados and cheese.

Lovely tasty soup that has a bit of a kick to it. I cut the recipe in half and didn't add the flour nor the oil. I just sprayed the pan lightly I sliced whole wheat tortillas and put them in the soup just befor serving it. This is a definite do again recipe Thanks Little Suzy for posting it
