I live in the city, not by the shore and love to be able to cook early in the day when I'm fresh. I can't get along without my appliances--crock pot, rotisserie, bread machine, etc. My favorite cookbook is Betty Crocker's Picture Cookbook (First edition). I have my mother's copy that I learned to cook out of.

<br>I also love camping and being away from home to experience the new and unusual. Pet peeves as far as food is concerned: 1)Food that is so seasoned you can't taste the featured item, especially when the seasoning is salt or hot peppers. 2) No choices for those who have dietary restrictions.
