Made this for my wife for her birthday yesterday along w/ grilled tuna w/ Cajun butter topping. I doubled the garlic, added jumbo shrimp and chopped a thick slice of Vidalia onion to sauté. There was 6 adults at the party and we used 1 lbs of linguini and it was just the right amount. The other 2 couples left w/ the recipe. I would say that rates a 5 star!

We loved this. It was so simple and so fast and I also like how you didn't need cream for this. I halved the amount of butter needed for this and increased the olive oil a bit. I also cut up some jumbo shrimp and tossed it in. My husband wants me to make this often now! thanks for sharing this recipe.

This was excellent and everyone in my family loved it(even my 7 & 3 yr old!) I made this with 50 fresh little neck clams(steamers). I cooked chopped onion & garlic, added parsley, salt & pepper & bottle of clam juice. I added clams, lid & brought to a boil till all clams opened(approx. 5 minutes). *Before adding the clams I tasted the broth to make sure it was seasoned to taste. YUM!

My passions are beautiful sunny days, lazy afternoons with my family, the smell of rain and the way I feel after I go to church. #1 pet peeve: people who drive on the left-hand side of the road (passing lane). Favorite cookbook is THE GREAT AMERICAN FAVORITE BRAND NAME COOKBOOK. It's just one of those books where, every recipe always turns out good!!!
