My husband loves this recipe. Not very figure friendly, but good.
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2⁄3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 lb cooked linguine
- 1⁄8 teaspoon fresh grated black pepper
- 1 dash nutmeg (optional)
- 1 lb peeled deveined shrimp
- 1 garlic clove
- Cook Linguini using package directions, keep warm. Add all other ingredients to a large skillet over medium heat, cook for about 5 minutes. Stir in, Shrimp cook until shrimp turn pinkish in color and sauce is thickened. about 5-10 minutes.
Sorry, a little too dry..I added extra milk to the sauce, and extra granulated garlic power..it was okay, after adding and tasting!
Wow - very rich and delicious! I used 12 oz. pasta and a little additional shrimp, which gave us 5 generous servings. (Maybe it saved a few calories?!) I liked cooking the shrimp in the cream. I didn't add the cheese until the very end. Excellent pasta with crispy bread and steamed broccoli. Cest magnifique!
