I don't understand why it's taken so long for someone else to make this great recipe, 'cause these are very, very nice tasting, & I enjoyed working with the phylo dough! And, since the sweet potato is one of my favorite foods, well . . . Made this with buttermilk & also didn't peel the potatoes but rather diced them up very small before mashing them ~ We enjoy the taste of the peel, no less! Definitely something I look forward to making during this next batch of end-of-year holidays! I'm a-keepin' this recipe, for sure! [Made & reviewed in Bargain Basement tag]
