This was not the best sweet and sour sauce I've ever had but for the small amount of ingredients and the simplicity of the recipe, it is definitely a keeper. I added some salt and crushed red pepper flakes at the end for a little more flavor. Thank you for sharing Terri.
We LOVED this sauce! Made egg rolls for dinner and I needed a sweet and sour sauce and found this one. Nice and thick, alittle sweet but delicious!! This is one of those recipes that I usually have all the ingredients on hand and can make in a flash when needed. A keeper in my book for sure!! Thanks so much for sharing the recipe!
I made this for Pick a Chef Fall 2005. This was an easy recipe and produces a nice thick sauce. I always have these ingredients in the house and now I can whip up and easy sauce in a flash. I used it over meatballs that I had in the freezer and this recipe has found a place in my public cookbook "Stuff to do with meatballs" Thanks!
