Linda's Once-Baked Biscotti

READY IN: 1hr 20mins
Recipe by Artemis Platts

My sister developed this recipe and I made it for the first time last Christmas. The biscotti turned out great, despite the fact that I mistakenly baked them twice.

Good flavor but the dough always turns out too sticky and it doesn't rise. I would suggest adding more floor.

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. Mix all ingredients in order listed.
  2. Grease and flour a cookie sheet.
  3. Form the dough into a rounded loaf. If the loaf is a bit flat, it's no problem- just decrease the cooking time slightly.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  5. Slice loaf with a heavy knife. Don't worry if there is some crumbling as you slice. Once the loaf cools, the slices will firm up and stay together.
