These are one of the best appetizers I have ever had. They were enjoyed by my whole family during the holidays and I have made them a couple of times since just for us. The kids really love them too. They even fought over the last one!

I made a half batch as a test run for an appetizer for our annual halloween party. The kids couldn't leave them alone, and it looked so pretty with all the colors of fall (green broccoli, red, orange and yellow peppers, carrots). Just what I was looking for.

    • I had to make a couple of dishes for a pot luck and wanted to try these. They went in a flash, and I was mighty lucky to get one!!! These things fly out of the dish. I've never seen anything like it! The kids especially liked them, and it's a great way to get the veggies into them. We will have again and again for parties etc., and I can't wait to show off my new recipe at work. I am going to be the appetizer diva of the month when these things hit the lunch room!!!

I followed the recipe pretty much, but in place of the taco seasoning I used Seven Seas Ranch dressing mix. The kids dug in and kept going back to the table until the plate was empty. Needless to say the pizza went over real well with the adults too! I like the fact that it is somewhat healthy with all the veggies. Makes me feel not so guilty for pigging out! Excellent appetizer. Thank you for sharing!

I made several recipes to bring to my nephews graduation party, and this was one of them. Everyone chowed down on these like they were going out of style! I loved mine and my DH couldn't leave them alone. I bet he was at the table 6 times getting these! Guess I will have to make some for us :) These were delicious and tasted really great! It takes awhile to cut up the veggies and get things ready, but these are so worth the time and effort! Thanks for sharing this recipe with us Linda!

I tried these at a party I went to and thought they were EXCELLENT! I was so glad to find the recipe posted here. I made for my DD's college graduation party and it was one of the favorites on the table! Everyone was going back for seconds and thirds, so I know they thought they were good! The heard one of the kids commenting, "I never had these before, but I want my mom to have this recipe!" I will make this often now that I have it. It's already into my favorites box, to have and to hold until death do us part LOL. Thanks for sharing it with us!
