Limoncello is an Italian lemon liqueor. The sorbrt is a good palate cleanser.


  1. Bring water to boil, add sugar and lemon zest. Stir until sugar has dissolved then cool.
  2. Strain out zest and add lemon juice. Freeze over night.

This was a refreshing treat today, as it was very warm outside. So far, I prefer my limoncello, in frozen form, rather then in a drink. I made this in my Cuisinart, Automatic Frozen Yogurt-Ice Cream & Sorbet Maker. When it was done, I took a few scoops to take a photo and sample. Then put it in the freezer so it will freeze harder. Next time I make this I'll add some lemon zest into the mixture at freezing time. Made for ZWT7- Italy
