I didn't bother with the glaze due to time constraints, but this recipe worked really well! It was my first time using a cookie press and I'm very pleased with the results. My modifications were to use the zest from a whole lime, and the juice from 1/4 right in the cookies. I also chilled the dough for about 10 minutes before working with it. I look forward to making other flavor alterations with this recipe!

I chose to try this recipe because it's different than the gazillion other Spritz recipes, which are really all the same... They truly do melt in your mouth! Since I used margarine, my dough was a little crumbly, so I added 1 tbsp of plain yogurt. I did the half green/half white dough, shaped into a flower, and pressed a mini chocolate chip in the centre. For the 4th & 5th batches, I worked some cocoa into the white dough to have more of a contrast. It looked wonderful with the neon green... unfortunately, it hid the lime flavour, so next time, I'd like to try the cocoa in half the batter, and add peppermint extract to the green half. Got 90 cookies and baked them only 5 minutes. The danger with these is that there are no eggs, so any "ugly" cookies don't make it back into the cookie press, they go straight to your hips! Thanks grandma for sharing something different!!!

These were good. Though I do admit I changed a few things in the recipe. I added about a tsp of lime juice in the batter and also uped the powdered sugar about 1/4 cup and added 4 Tbsp of Chream cheese. They came out absolutely awesome. Did use the Christmas Tree Press because it's Christmas.

This was a nice mild cookie. I didn't make the glaze though. The cookies worked well in my press. I was a little concerned about using cornstarch in this recipe-never seen that done before, but they turned out fine. The kids love them.
