This syrup really makes fruit salads interesting, and makes me want to eat more fruit. I like it just the way it is but it's very lime-y so a person who doesn't like sour stuff might want to use less lime juice. I double this recipe when I cook it.
I really enjoyed this - I've been looking for a syrup-sauce recipe for fruit salad for a while, and I'm really glad I tried this one. I made as directed except I skipped the sugar and only used raw tupelo honey. I served over a mixture of fresh pineapple, strawberries, green grapes, blackberries and 3 different types of apples - red delicious, braeburn and honey crisp.
