- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 cups icing sugar (confectioners)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon finely grated fresh lime zest
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- Beat together buttercream ingredients with an electric mixer at high speed until combined.
