Lime Chicken With Peppers

"This is from the official Crock-Pot web site. I liked the mix of ingredients, and since most of the cooking is done in a slow-cooker, it's easy to prepare. Personally, I think the cilantro adds more than just garnish appeal -- it imparts a necessary flavor to the dish!"

  • Add in the rest of the flour (another 1/4 cup) and stir.
  • Get more liquid from slow cooker and add it into creamy mixture
  • Add in about 2 Tbsp to 1/4 cup of lime juice to the cream mixture (depending on how much you like lime).
  • Add in the rest of the contents from the slow cooker and stir to combine.

Reviews

  1. Lite and tasty. I put mine over rice instead of the noodles and it was great.

  2. Really good recipe, but we felt it needed some tweaking. The cream sauce would be better with a bit of cheddar added to it. Some jalapenos wouldn't hurt either.
