Questions & Replies

  1. So, when I first made this I was a bit concerned since the only blender I own is a Ninja brand but when it first came out, it was in a similar consistency as I have seen in the picture. After chilling it however, it became really solid and really buttery. The flavor isn't bad but it turned more into lime garlic butter than a sauce. I would like to know if it was because I used a Ninja blender or something. Could it be that it did not emulsify correctly? Does anyone think I could perhaps blend everything first and then finish the sauce with the emulsion using a hand blender like I do for mayo?

  2. Made this sauce to top our grilled chicken. Wow, isn't it tasty and tart! I blended all the ingredients in my Magic Bullet and it was very easy and quick to whip up. I can see that this sauce could be used on many different foods. I have some of the sauce leftover, and am going to try it on some veggies for tomorrow night's supper. Thanks so much, Bev!
