I got this idea while eating an Mcdee's southwestern salad. They had forgotten the dressing and the only thing I had was the lime that had came in the salad itself, so I squeezed them over the salad and ate my dinner.
- 8 ounces lime juice
- 4 teaspoons celery seeds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 4 tablespoons Splenda sugar substitute
- 1 cup of finely chopped red onion
- 1 cup cilantro
- Whisk all ingredients to in a medium bowl.
- More olive may be used if desired, I like it low fat. The longer it sets the better the flavors blend.
this recipes did not turn out for me...it was very runny and looked like slime. I ended up throwing it away.
