Today was my mom's birthday, so I decided to surprise with a cake. I didn't have much time after school so I wanted a quick recipe. This one was perfect-really easy to make ^^. I used 1/4 cup applesauce instead of the egg and also added one of those snack size puddings. The cake was scrumdiddlyumptious and so moist! My mom was so surprised! Thanks
Very good recipe! Family loves this on a cold wintry morning. Not overly sweet. Great with a cup of coffee.
This was a good cake that was quick to make and quick to eat. It was gone very quickly between my brood and DH. I wasn't very fond of it, but had a cold at the time, so that doesn't count. I love that I only had a couple dishes to wash afterwards. I think it would be good with a little orange or almond extract added to it. Made and reviewed for US Regional Alphabet Tag - Thanks! :)
It was quick and easy. I ended up having to use half-and-half wheat and white flour, but it still turned out delicious.
Pretty good cake. To me, it had just a slight floury taste to it, but it was so simple to make. My husband really liked it, too.
Oh, I just loved this cake. It was unbelievably soft and moist, and easy to make. It was gone pretty much as soon as it came out of the oven. Thank you so much, Karen, I will certainly be making this again!!
this was great and i am only thirteen sooo any one can do it! try it out you wont regret it!!!
This cake is so easy that everyone can make it without failure. All the ingredients are what I use in my daily life, and I can make it whenever I decide to.Today I didn't have enough time to soften butter,so I put it in the microwave oven and heated up it for thirty seconds. It was successful. It is not too sweet, and we can eat it for breakfast as well as for a snack. My family asked me to make it again. Thanks!
This kind of reminds me of a light coffeecake. I made it to take to work today. It was quick, easy, and all I heard was Wonderful, Yummy and Delightful. Thanks for posting this one.
