This was perfect. We used it to can whole bing cherries.

Directions

  1. In a stainless steel saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil over medium high heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat to low and keep waarm until needed, taking care not to boil the syrup down.
