This just didn't work for me. There was very little batter (and it would have been runny if I added all the milk), far too much topping mixture, they didn't really rise and they were hard. Hope others who try this have better luck than me!!

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream oil, sugar and egg whites or substitute.
  2. Combine the dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
  3. Fill muffin cups 2/3rd’s full.
  4. Bake at 325 degrees, 20 to 25 minutes or until golden.
  5. Meanwhile, combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  6. Roll the tops of the muffins in the sugar mixture while hot out of the oven.
  7. Serve warm or freeze and microwave 20 to 25 seconds before serving.
