This is a great pick-me-up. I was given this recipe from a friend who was juice fasting for Lent. I give this to the picky 4yo DD. Be sure not to give honey to babies. UPDATED: V-8 would work for the vegetable juice if you'd like. I have a juicer, so I make fresh juice from whatever I have on hand. You can use what you like.
- In pitcher, combine juices and honey. Mix well.
- Serve over ice. Garnish with orange peel curls if desired.
Made for 123 tag. This was easy and tasty for my moring eye-opener! Gotta love getting all those vitamins in one shot!
Nice! I have a bad winter cold and am so stuffed up and cannot breathe. I made this with my juicer and juiced the oranges and grapefruit first. Then I juiced the veggies using lots of carrots, some cabbage and a nice chunk of ginger. Mixed according to your amounts listed and added some agave nectar rather than honey- did not realize I was out of honey! I can already breathe better! This is definitely a great healthy drink made tasty with the addition of the orange, grapefruit and honey! Good way to get the vitamins and minerals I need to help get over this bug faster too!
