Very good and easy to make. Stores nicely in fridge for a few days. Keep pasta seperate as the recipe indicates. enjoy!
Excellent soup! I didn't have farfalle pasta so I used macaroni. Easy to make too! DH said I could make this again. :)

This was great! I made some changes though. I didn't have any carrots on hand unfortunately or chicken stock. I added chicken boullion to 6 cups of water instead and also added 1 1/2 tsp of italian seasoning. Thanks
Again, pretty good for a basic lentil soup. I think next time I might add some spices, (Basil? Thyme? Oregano?) but otherwise this was a very good easy recipe.
The best thing about this recipe is its ease, simplicity & use of standard pantry ingredients! Aside from scaling in half, I followed the recipe verbatim, using orzo as my pasta. Thanx Maxine & Mermaidmagic!
This was really yummy and VERY easy to make too! I left out the celery since i didn't have any, left out the pasta and had it with some slices of french bread! Very filling! Thank you so much for this recipe!
Excellent basic lentil soup. The pasta makes it extra special and filling. Use a good homemade stock and this soup will be surprisingly packed with flavor for so few ingredients. My compliments to Maxine, mermaidmagic.
