Really tasty recipe! I've just made it or the 2nd time but in an effort to up the health kicks I added raw linseed and chia and just increased the water. Jut before removing from the oven I added finely chopped Swiss chard along with the cheese. Even the meat eating hubbie gave it the thumbs up
Very good!! I used a 2 year old white cheddar and made as written - it was done in 1.5 hours. I served with a light green salad.
Very tasty, hearty meal! As a main dish, this made more like 3-4 servings for us. Mine cooked in an hour and a half, though I did need to add more liquid after an hour. I used GruyÃ¨re cheese, and it added a nice richness to the dish. Yum! Thanks AJO!
This is really good. I made it as written except for using a brown and wild rice mixture and topping the casserole with taco & nacho cheese. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes to cook. Made for the Vegetarian/Vegan Recipe Swap.
