Awesome! very tasty! I used golden delicious apples instead of the granny. (too sour) and since I had no oranges, I used 2 scoops of orange juice concentrate. very filling. Plus, you can't taste the spinach at all! I do like the flavor of cooked spinach, but not raw. I've been freezing all the ingredients in a plastic bag, then letting it thaw a bit, and then blending it up for a fast lunch! (you know how peoples schedules are this days) Thanks for posting!!
This is so delicious! I used a frozen banana for a little added creaminess.
This was so refreshing and delicious! I even got my 6 year old daughter to drink it for breakfast this morning. I'm going to make these all the time. A very healthful, tasty smoothie, thanks so much for posting!
Wow! This was great! I did not even add the banana! Orange, apple, spinach and water with a tablespoon of lemon juice to brighten it all. Added 1 packet of stevia (truvia). Tasty and yummy! Thanks!@
This was pretty good. I altered it though, and instead of 1 c. water we used 1 c. orange juice (had no orange), 1 Red Delicious Apple (it's what I had). Besides the spinach, I added a little kale too, and also 1/2 c. yogurt, and 1/4 c. cooked quinoa (complete protein). Good way to get some anti-oxidants and probiotics too!
Great recipe. And convenient for me because they are ingredients I buy every single week. I only put 3 ounces of spinach in though, because 8 ounces would have been my whole bag!
It was really good! I substituted the water with 1 cup of coconut water and put in 3 oz instead of 8. This has easily turned into my daily go-to smoothie
