Great recipe Sydney Mike! The perfect amount of lemony-ness. My dearest husband made french bread from scratch and the 8 thick Texas-toast size pieces soaked up the butter mix perfectly. DH did burn most of them on the grill slightly because he forgot about them while playing with our new kitten, but they were still great. Thanks for the keeper!
This was delicious, i used the broiler and just opened the french bread like you would for garlic bread.

When I saw this recipe I knew I was going to love it and I was right - it's terrific!! Subtle lemon flavor with the lemon pepper and garlic, and grilling it over charcoal just made this perfect. Loved it - thanks for sharing the recipe!

This is one great tasting bread. The lemon did give such a great flavour to the butter. Quick and so easy to make. A great recipe to keep and use over and over again!
What a great way to grill bread! I never would have thought to add lemon zest. We enjoyed this alongside some grilled chicken and a mixed greens salad for a delectable lunch. Made for 1-2-3 Hits.

Loved this bread!!! The lemon pepper really enhances the garlic butter flavor, oh and the grilling gave it such a nice crunch while the inside stayed tender. Made almost as written due to an interruption forgot to add the lemon zest, sorry. This is a keep the will be made again. Thanks for the post.
