  1. This lemonade is a refreshing, cooling treat! I did have to make a few alterations due to the fact that I could not find Vernor's soda in my area. I also substituted raspberries for strawberries as that was all I had on hand. I used one 12 oz can lemonade concentrate, 2-1 liter bottles club soda, 1 package frozen raspberries - defrosted, crushed and strained. Mixed them all together and garnished with freshly sliced lemon! Delicious!

  2. What a creative, pleasing beverage. I couldn't find Vernor's either, so I substituted regular club soda. The color of this drink was beautiful served in champagne flutes. I dropped a whole strawberry in the bottom of the glass. Very tasty, and a very versatile recipe. Thanks, Dana for sharing another of your wonderful recipes!

  3. We loved this. We were out on the beach all day and it was very refreshing to have. A very feel good and cheerful drink. I think it will become a summer favorite. I had to change it a little though. I used mixed berries and club soda.

  4. This was very refreshing. I only made 1/2 a batch. I love the Vernors in this lemonade. I will be making this alot during the summer.

  5. I also prefer this with the lemon-lime soda instead of the ginger ale. I also used fresh strawberries with a little sugar, for they were in season. I used it for a bridal shower, and everyone raved about it. I had leftover and I drank it all! It was so good!

  2. Made this per instructions except used Canada Dry ginger ale. Recipe makes PLENTY (to the rim of the punch bowl), but I would recommend using Sprite instead of ginger ale to offset the tartness of the lemonade. It really needed a sweeter soda mixed with it to enhance the flavor.
