So yummy and refreshing! I had fresh tarragon that I had to use up so I thought I'd try this. Definitely a repeater!

Enjoyed the fresh lemon juice/zest. I only had dried tarragon on hand but I am sure it would be even that much tastier with the fresh. Thanks Mama! Roxygirl

lovely recipe, thank you! i used japanese mayo as that's what we have, and i used less than a quarter cup (making for 2), 30grams. i also added a bit of pumpkin seeds and pine nuts which went really well with the whole thing. served over salad leaves, it was dellicious!

I've been making this since it first appeared in Bon Appetit in a spring issue about six years ago...? Adding walnuts (toasted) is really good, too.

Lovely flavour, we enjoyed it served as a sandwich on a bun with a bowl of soup for supper. Love the tarragon,had to use dried, no fresh around yet. I used no fat mayo; not quite as much as was called for; not half a cup but not a quarter cup. The combination of tarragon,red onion, celery and the lemon zest made for lots of flavour and a little crunch. I used leftover roasted chicken drumsticks for the meat, worked out very well. Thanks for posting, I will be making it again.

I really love this chicken salad! It has a terrific lemony flavor and is light and refreshing. Served a scoop on a bed of baby spinach and it was delicious!

It really does have a refreshing flavor. I used low fat mayonnaise and the full 2 tbsp of tarragon (I love tarragon). The only thing I added was a bit of salt and pepper. This would be great for baby/bridal showers. Love it and will make it again. Thanx!
