Happened to see this on TV in a restaurant, (with sound off !) -- and raced home to save the recipe. Have made it twice since lemon is my favorite flavor and pasta my favorite meal ! Last night, added 1/2 butter to the oil, and sauteed some shrimp to add. Served ONLY with garlic bread -- amazing how well the pasta soaks up the liquid. Thanks for posting.
We love this pasta! It's light & lemony.. a perfect change from the usual heavy shrimp scampi.
Wonderful recipe. Love the lemon. I don't cook with cream, so subbed in half/half and since I don't do heat very well, I only used half the amount given. Made for Pick A Chef Spring 2012. :)
I have made this on several occasions and it is one of my favorites. You cannot cut corners and use half & half or any lighter cream or it won't work. If your lemons are huge, just use 1 unless you love lemon to distraction. Also, use freshly grated parmesan cheese, not that crumb stuff in cans. We like spicy so I use the full 1/2 tsp of pepper flakes and a full 4 cloves of garlic. A great recipe if you are a lover of garlic/lemon/parmesan.

The recipe is so gross I had to register just to warn you. First of all, it smells exactly like Top Ramen. You know, that disgusting cheap stuff that is ten for a dollar? The sauce has the consistency of water. The taste of the sauce is far too lemony. The cream does cut the sourness but still, it just tastes like lemon juice on pasta. Blech. This recipe calls for too much pepper flakes, in my opinion. An utter failure of a meal. I could not eat more than two bites. The other person in the house ate a few more bites than me, but admitted it was foul and they were only eating it because they were starving. This was the third RR recipe we've tried. The other two were fine but this one is garbage.
