Thanks again for "searching" out this recipe. Just thought I would let you know that the whole family was lounging in the backyard yesterday with a nice cold Lemon Shake Up, which was DELICIOUS!!! Just like you get at the fair. The balance of lemon/sugar is perfect!people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? I made this too with Splenda (It is not a sugar substitute, it is sugar, but processed differently so it is safe for diabetics and others on low sugar diets). Terrific drink and we all enjoyed it!!people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? Yes | No We don't know who you are. I really wanted some lemonade but didn't have enough lemons to make a whole pitcher... plus my BF doesn't like lemonade, so I would rather make it fresh by the glass. This was a perfect solution! I thought the amount of sugar was a little much, but I made it per recipe anyway. Was that a GREAT glass of lemon goodness!!! I shook my lemon mixture in an old pickle glass I had washed and it helped to dissolve the sugar by being able to really shake up the drink this way! Just a perect balance...wouldn't change a thing!
