      In a 16 oz glass pour in sugar.

      Squeeze lemons to juice them (into glass) and then add the squeezed halves.

      Add ice, then water to fill.

      Cover and"shake" until sugar is dissolved.

      Thanks again for "searching" out this recipe. Just thought I would let you know that the whole family was lounging in the backyard yesterday with a nice cold Lemon Shake Up, which was DELICIOUS!!! Just like you get at the fair. The balance of lemon/sugar is perfect!

      I made this too with Splenda (It is not a sugar substitute, it is sugar, but processed differently so it is safe for diabetics and others on low sugar diets). Terrific drink and we all enjoyed it!!
