This is a great sweet bread! I took Annacia's advise and used oil instead of butter and I used splenda for 2tbs and sugar for the last. I also used half bread flour and half wheat. I did end up having to add about an 1/8cup of water probably because of the wheat flour but it turned out lovely! DH and DD loved it!person found this review Helpful. This recipe is very simply spectacular! It makes a dough that is pure heaven to work with. I started with plain fat free yogurt so I added a extra tsp of lemon extract and as the amount of poppyseed isn't mentioned in the ingredient list *wink* I put in 1 1/2 Tbsp for an amount that I liked. I used canola oil as it's a healthier fat than butter and used 1/2 a cup of egg white instead of whole eggs and Splenda for the sugar. This is destined for tomorrow's Easter table so I havent sampled the baked loaf but if the dough is anything to go by it's wonderful! A light but clear lemon flavor with a perfect sweetness. This is truly a 5 star recipe. Thanks you so much for posting it Jan. Made for Photo Tag.people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful...
