- Heat oil in a pan.
- Sautee onion, garlic, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves. Add in raw rice and zest of a lemon.
- Season to taste.
- Put into rice cooker along with stock. Let cook.
- 5 mins before its done, add raisins in and continue cooking for 5 minute.
- Serve sprinkled with almonds.
