These are good. I used Lemon Pepper with raw almonds and pistachios no peanuts because of an allergy. Made for Veggie Swap 26 ~ September 2010.

I used a mix of almonds, peanuts, cashews and pecans. I also did this in the micro and added some water to make the sugar liquefy. I popped them in the oven for about 10 minutes at 350 to get a nice crunchy crust. They set up beautifully and the pepper is very mild. I think I will add a touch more pepper next time I make these, and there will be a next time! Thanks!

Awesome. Addictive. MMMMMM I made this recipe (quadrupled) to give as Christmas gifts to my two sisters. They are both eating the vegan way lately and I was in search of recipe that I could give to them. This recipe would please ANYONE. I couldn't stop sneaking tastes as the nuts were cooling! I would recommend doubling the recipe for starters. You will be glad you did. For a double recipe - I used one 11/5 oz. can of Planters mixed nuts (mine were lightly salted and it seemed to work just fine); 1/2 C. sugar and 1 T. lemon pepper (by Mrs. Dash). The recipe is perfect and soooo tasty. Thank you!

These are GREAT ~ made them for my annual Christmas goodie tray for work, DH almost destroyed my plan as he wanted them ALL for himself. I used pecan halves, cashews and blanched almonds ~ YUM! Thanks JanuaryBride for sharing the recipe ~ I'll be making these again for our Christmas buffet table. Made "just because" they sounded so good :)

A great flavor combination of sweet/tart. I agree too with the other reviewers that these are very addicting. I know it says serves 4, but really!!!! Made for Veg-n-Swap~

I love the idea that any of these would last long enough to be stored in that tightly-sealed container. These were so yummy and turned out to be rather addictive. Which makes me appreciate that the recipe makes just the right amount to share as a snack. I enjoyed the sweet heat taste that makes them perfect for serving to adult guests. Made for vegetarian tag.

Made these just as indicated, but did triple the recipe, & another time will probably make an even larger batch! Loved the combo of sugar & lemon pepper here! Definitely a keeper! [Tagged, made & reviewed in Make My Recipe]
