What a wonderfully flavored flank steak!!! I made 1/2 of the recipe and just marinated the whole steak, but did serve the slices with some grilled onions and mushrooms for a fantastic main dish. The steak was so nice, tender and so flavorful, from such a simple quick recipe. This is a recipe I will add to my favorites for 2014. Thanks so much for sharing the recipe TeresaS!!!
I accidentally pulled out pork instead of beef but it still did wonderful. I did as TeresaS normally does and left the steaks whole. Awesome next time I will marinate them overnight.
Really nice marinade! I only had a chance to marinate for 2 hours and it made an impact. I made half the recipe and it turned out very well. I should have read your instructions a bit better because I cooked on a medium-high heat and by the time it was done, the outside was a little dry and stringy. MY BAD!!! Made for Gimme 5 Tag. I marinated the steaks all day, and they came out very tastey. I did as Teresa said she normally does and left the steaks whole, also a preference for my family. They truned out delicious. Thanks for posting a great recipe. Made for 123 Hit Wonders Tag.
It seems great to be able to use the grill again up here in the north without throwing on my boots :) I marinated my steaks in about 2 tsp. olive oil instead of the 1/4 c. and marinated for about 5 hrs. before grilling. It was plenty long enough and the steaks were juicy and deliciously flavored, and came out rare, just like we like them! This marinade is so awesome! Simply delicious! Easy to make and the flavors were outstanding. I didn't pinwheel the steaks this time, but would like to try it using mushrooms when I make it again. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
Outstanding, I added chopped garlic to marinade and decreased oil to 1 tsp; after rolling, I cut each roll in half. (watching my weight)My husband and I thought they were great and when I brought one for my manager for lunch she thought they were yummy. Thanks Teresa for a great recipe.
