I was very pleasantly surprised with this. I chose this one because the ratio seemed better than some of the other recipes, less oil involved. I used lemon juice and sugar and it worked really well. Thanks for saving me some money!
I've been using for a long time a salt face scrub, but never thought of adding lemon to it. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic! Used Morton Sea Salt and loved it.
Great scrub! I used lemon and kosher salt and I plan on trying salt/lime next time. I've made scrubs at home before, but I liked that this one wasn't too oily. I also liked that it made enough for a few applications, but won't last several months, like most store bought scrubs do. It did make me crave a margarita, though! So I bought more salt and several limes at the store today--for next time! Thanks for posting!
What a neat homemade recipe. I had all the ingredients so I gave it a try. It was just like any scrub purchased at the store...but cheaper!! I used sugar and lime juice and it worked great. Thanks for posting!! This will definitely be a keeper.
Wonderful at-home remedy! Put on sandals for the first time this year and wasn't pleased at what I saw so I whipped this together using the salt and lime juice. Did a good job even after one use of exfoliating and the olive oil left them just a bit moisturized. I'll use this between pedicures to help get my feet in tip top shape for sexy sandal season!
Love it!!! I use this at least once a week during the winter months and up to 3x a week during the spring/summer months to keep my feet looking sandal perfect! It's all natural and really fragrant, soothing and cheap! I use the salt option and sometimes add a drop or two of lemon essential oil. Thanks for sharing!
This felt sooo good, I didn't want to rinse it off, lol. I used just under 2tbsp of fresh lemon juice, just under 1 tbsp of fresh lime juice (leftover from another recipe and needed to be used), 1/4 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup salt, and the olive oil as directed. I used this on my hands, but can't wait to try on my feet! Thanks for sharing! :)
This (suprisingly) works very well. I use salt for its healing purposes. (this can also be done in brown sugar)
