Yummy! I added extra zest and chopped hazelnuts. Very tasty.

Not sure what I did wrong, but this turned out kinda dry when eaten by itself. When we ate it with butter and/or jam it helped. I like the idea of a loaf made from lemons so I will try again.

Nice, really nice! As it turned out, I was out of fresh lemons and all out of my frozen zest.....so I used fresh oranges for both the zest and the juice. Very enjoyable! Can't wait to make with lemons!

Yummy! I needed to make a sweet bread for a potluck. Tired of the same old banana bread, I thought I'd give this a shot! It's a winner! Easy too!

This was great! Made it this evening to serve with a cup of hot tea each to our friends' who were coming home for evening tea. Everyone enjoyed this - it was gone from the plate in seconds! Thank you so much for posting. Merry Christmas to you and your family from all of us here:)

Ahhhh! Nothing better than warm bread from the oven, and even better, it has a wonderful lemon flavor. Believe me, this one wasnt cool when I cut it! It was easy to do late in the afternoon, and was ready before 5:00 pm. I love the flavor and texture. A fine recipe, Sue, thanks for sharing a "keeper"!
