  1. I agree with WI cheesehead,MUST HAVES!!! GARLIC AND PARM &PEPPER!

  2. My DS tried this b4 I put the garlic, salt/pepper and Parmesan in and said "Yuck!" After I added lots of garlic and Parmesan, he and the others loved it. I didn't make enough shrimp though. I steamed broccoli and cauliflower and used a 12 oz box of whole wheat linguini. So quick and easy! Will make this again.

  3. Very very enjoyable. I should have read the reviews first and added some garlic (I definately missed it) -- used snap peas instead of asparagus to steam - delicious !! I also cut the oil in half ... and it seemed right for me. Thank you !

  4. We loved it! I used whole wheat linguini and added 2 cloves of garlic with the shrimp, which rather than steam (it was already cooked) I heated up with the garlic, asparagus spears and wee bit of the oil in a frypan. Loved the lemon, just enough. I just made two servings, it worked out very well. thanks for posting I will be making it again!

  5. A solid 5-star recipe. I really liked this linguini. It was fresh-tasting and very satisfying. I will make this often. It's so easy and required so few ingredients. Thanks Mary.

I'm a grandmother who loves having the grandkids around. My son is currently living with me (on a short term basis) so I get to see and spend time with his kids more than I ever had, and that's a great thing. I love trying new recipes and since I have found RecipeZaar, the new dishes have been streaming. Sometimes I think the kids would prefer a little break, but until they speak up, it's something new for them about everytime they visit with us. I don't consider myself a 'cook,' I can only follow recipes. To me a cook is someone who can come up with their own recipes and have success at it (like my daughter).
