This is a tangy treat.
- Grate peel. Mix cream, milk and sugar.
- Add to peel.
- Place in bowl in freezer until firm.
- (about 6 hours).
- Mash and add juice of lemons.
- Return to freezer until firm.
I made a half more of this recipe and then used the ice cream maker (with a little extra lemon juice) to bring it to the soft serve stage. Then it went into the freezer for a couple of hrs. I got a wonderful, lemony, ice cream that I'll likely be making again before summer if over. *wink*
