I got this recipe from my best friend. She always uses it on chicken but I find it also works very well with Halibut, but don't marinate the halibut as long as you would chicken.

Ingredients Nutrition

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredieants well.
  2. Pour over chicken and marinate at lease 2 hours (or overnight).
  3. If using fish, only marinate 1/2 hour.
  4. Grill chicken or fish on B-B-Q, or broil in broiler.
  5. This makes enough for 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts.

Wonderful lemony marinade, without salt. Except for omitting the salt I followed the recipe and marinated salmon fillets for about 20 minutes before baking. The fish was delicious and moist and didn't need any fresh lemon. Can't wait to try this on chicken.

I used this on some tilapia fillets before throwing them on the George Foreman grill. They turned out quite tasty with a good kick of lemon and herb zest.

I marinated halibut steaks with this and my sister and I devoured it greedily. The only change I made was to use garlic-and-herb seasoning in place of the seasoned salt since I'm under doctor's orders to cut down on salt. This was really outstanding--the lemon and the seasonings, particularly the thyme--made a great taste combination. Will make again. And again. And again.
