I got this recipe from my mom. It has great flavor that soaks right into the chicken instead of staying on the outside
- Mix well and marinate overnight or 8 hours.
I marinaded the chicken overnight. This makes a lot of marinade so you can add a few more pieces of chicken if you'd like. I used Mexican oregano from Penzey's which was large leaves. The chicken was lightly flavored so I think 2 tablespoons would have worked better. I will give this another try using more Mexican oregano or trying their Turkish oregano.
