This is the recipe that was made to top the Apple Suet Steamed Pudding.
- Cream butter and salt.
- Add egg sugar and cream until fluffy.
- Add egg and beat rapidly until well blended.
- Gradually add lemon juice and rind and continue beating.
- Cook until thickened.
- This a nice topping for most any steamed pudding.
