Very nice flavor and easy to prepare. While I didn't add any chicken to the dish, we had a huge salad to go with, and this served our family of four. From start to finish, we were sitting down to eat in about 30 minutes. I will definitely serve with grilled chicken next time, but had a hungry, tired crowd tonight and needed something fast. This filled the order. I used a combination of oil and butter, just personal preference, and more garlic. I used 1/2 pound of spaghetti, and we have some leftover. I think I kept the other ingredients about the same as far as measurements go.

This recipe is truly excellent. The first time I made this recipe, I followed a previous reviewers advice and added a cup of dry white wine. I thought the dish was mediocre at best. I don't know what made me try it a second time but I did and followed the recipe to a "T" (other than tripling the garlic) and it was superb. I used this as a side dish to shrimp on the grill and it was the perfect accompaniment. I also think it would be great paired with grilled chicken. This recipe as a main meal would probably be a 4 star recipe (and I'd probably add chicken or shrimp to it) but as a side dish...it's a definite 5 star recipe and is a wonderful change to our menu from rice side dishes and buttered noodle side dishes. Even my 2 and 4 year old loved this...which is saying a lot. I had the leftovers for lunch and it was still really great reheated in the microwave. If you follow others' reviews the first time and add the wine and think this is only "fine"...try this again and follow it the way it was written. I love wine and I love wine in recipes...but it truly detracted from this recipe. Excellent. Thanks for sharing!

Love this recipe...I double it and add a can of cream of chicken soup to it to give it a creamier texture and add some broccoli! I play with the ingredients some to give it more a lemon taste. I also add chicken strips to the recipe and cook it with the sauce. My family is a meat eating family. I love way the broccoli soaks up the flavor. This is a family favorite.

Really good! I used half olive oil and half butter. Next time I'll do the same thing but use about a 1/3 less. The flavor was excellent! Thanks so much for posting.

This is truly delicious and it is a versatile base for other ingredients. The second time I made it, I added about 3 T chopped basil and 4 roma tomatos, seeded and then sliced vertically into thin strips. The tomatos added some texture and both the basil and the tomatos provided contrast. Thank you for sharing.

This was so good, the only change I needed to make was to use half canola oil and half butter. I also added four medium carrots (cut into matchsticks) and cooked them along with the garlic, every bite of carrot had a nice strong tangy flavor to it. I'd be interested to try adding water and cooking the pasta in the sauce, in order to infuse more of the flavor in the pasta itself.

I made this for lunch and successfully changed to two servings. This was delicious!!
I increased the lemon juice and used garlic powder but it was still super easy & tasty:)

Great side dish to Lemon Scalloppine. I made fresh lemon chive pasta to use and was great.

This was really good. I made this to go along with some fish the other night and it complimented it very well. My nephew and niece loved this. I liked how the lemon and olive oil absorbing into the warm pasta when adding it in. I will make this often, cuz its so easy and tastes fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing this simple yet oh so good pasta.

Fantastic recipe. I doubled the garlic and added more cracked pepper than the recipe called for. I also used a vegetable bullion cube instead of chicken because I am vegetarian. I sauteed some broccoli in the finished sauce and cooked the pasta in the sauce with a little bit of reserved pasta water as well before adding the parmesan. It was so flavorful!

Very tasty! Halved the recipe, left out the parmesan cheese, and served it on sun dried tomato spaghetti. The chicken bouillon really added a nice flavor (without really tasting "chicken-y"). I'll definitely be using this again!

Amazing. I will never make a marinara sauce again. My family loved this so much. I served it with Blackened Shrimp and veggies. Thank you so much.

Not a bad little side dish recipe. I think next time I will add some veggies in, maybe some green onions and mushrooms while the garlic is cooking. Thanks for the recipe.
