An easy delicious light dessert

  1. Combine sugar, and lemon zest with whipping cream in a heavy saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium high heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for 3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in lemon juice.
  6. Cool slightly.
  7. Pour into 4 wine glasses.
  8. Cover and refrigerate overnight or until set.
