  1. Cream together butter, sugar and lemon juice.
  2. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each adition.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
  4. Stir in the coconut and lemon peel.
  5. Pour into a greased 8x4x2 inch loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 350 for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool for 10 minutes; remove from pan to a wire rack.
  8. Combine confectioners' sugar and 2 tablespoons lemon juice; brush over loaf.
