I've been preparing Chicken Souvlaki for some time now, and was pleased when I tried this lemon version. I used all the ingredients listed with the addition of Lawry's Seasoned Salt, a bit of garlic powder and fresh ground black pepper. The key to this recipe is in the length of the marinating time....6 hours with a few turns works for me.

I served this to people who are unfamiliar with this cooking genre, and they couldn't get over how flavorful and tender the chicken was. Thanks for posting this. Delicious.

We loved this! I let this marinate for a few hours and it tasted fantastic. I did not cube the breast and just cooked them whole. I served the sliced chicken breast over a mixed green salad with some shredded cheese, carrots, and red onion. The chicken citrus flavor made a great compliment to the salad. Thank you for posting.

You've got this recipe down pat - Delish! So easy - I missed the last step (paprika), not because I wanted to but they smelled so tasty I had to serve them right away. Cooked on a Griddler grill. I served them with mixed wild, brown & white rice, new carrots & green beans right from the garden - Lovely meal

I don't know where to begin with this one. This is one heck of a tasty, simple way to eat! I doubled the marinade and put 1/2 on the meat (I used turkey cutlets) and 1/2 on a head of broccoli after blanching the broc. Meat went on skewers and the broccoli in a basket and ta-da! Delicious! My folks said maybe a little too much oregano, but they ate it all with no issues. My son finished a skewer faster than any of us and asked for another. :D Thanks so much!
