From TOH a way to kick up those Brussel Sprouts with lemon, butter & wine

Perfectly delicious! The lemon is just right you can taste it, the thyme I did not taste-- but not saying it should be increased either. Timing is right. Well written recipe. Serve with turkey meatball pasta and boule bread. Thank you for posting.

  1. Cut Brussels sprouts in half.
  2. In large skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
  3. Add Brussels sprouts and garlic; cook and stir 5 minutes or until sprouts begin to brown.
  4. Add wine, stirring to loosen browned bits from pan.
  5. Stir in Broth, lemon juice, thyme, salt and pepper.
  6. Bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat, simmer, covered 8-10 minutes or until sprouts are tender.
  8. Stir in butter and lemon peel until butter is melted.
  9. If desired sprinkle with parsley.
