  1. I LOVE this cake! I think it's my new favorite. I followed the recipe exactly and it was terrific. Thanks so much for sharing the recipe. :)

  2. I always thought you used some lemon juice in the glaze that went over the cake, but the recipes I've seen for this, I didn't notice adding extra lemon juice to the cake part. Still amazingly moist and refreshing for s summer treat. Try with lemon sorbet or sherbet, too.

  3. As other members have said before, "this recipe is a keeper." I made this recipe in my microwave oven for 10 minutes, and it turned out delicious. I followed the directions exactly as if I was going to use my conventional oven, but it was done in less time. My family just love this bundt cake, and I will be experimenting with different flavors. It is easy and quick to make. Thank you for having this recipe available to all of us. Irene.

  4. I let the cake rest for ten minutes and poured the glaze as the instructions said to pour it over the hot cake. Why? It made a lake of glaze beneath the cake! The cake was soggy. If I make this again I will wait until the cake and the glaze are COOL before adding the glaze.

  5. Looked beautiful out of my decorated bundt pan. Sliced up nice too. Everyone seemed to really like it. Very moist. I thought it tasted sour. I added two tablespoons lemon juice for some of the water and a little zest. Maybe that is why?

Tweaks

  1. This is a wonderful moist cake. It was very easy to do. I did not have any lemon juice so I used some lemoncello (an italian lemon liqueur) instead. Thanks!
