Excellent Lemon Bread, so like one I enjoyed many years ago and neglected to get the recipe to be making it. We enjoyed every slice! Thank you for sharing your mom's recipe for this lovely loaf.
Meyer lemon replaced standard lemon and I baked two small loaves instead of one big one. The loaves baked in about 45 minutes. Served for Elevenses today with tea, carrot sticks and Welsh sharp cheddar cheese. Reviewed for Best of 2012.
