- 1 lb carrot, jullienned
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 dash pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried basil
- Cook carrots in a small amount of water for 20 minutes.
- In a different saucepan, melt butter.
- Stir in lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, and basil.
- Add carrots and toss.
these were a nice and different way to eat carrots! i liked the lemon basil mix but felt that the garlic overpowered the carrots. I would suggest cutting back a little on the garlic to suit your taste... but really a great snack!! :D:D:D
We actually love ALL the ingredients, just never had them all together before. These aren't our favorite but that's OK. Thanks for posting.
