Really yummy-and I KNOW yummy! Having read the reviews I took the precaution of spraying the pan with a little cooking spray and then wiping most of it off, thereby leaving just enough to prevent sticking-which it did! Excellent, easy recipe; a real keeper! Thanks Di!!

I made these for a swim team banquet - and they were the only dessert that was completely gone by the end of the evening! I picked this recipe over others both for its size and for the less sweet crust. I had to cook my bars for about 10 minutes longer than listed, but when they were done and dusted with powdered sugar, they had a light, flaky crust and golden tops surrounding a melt in your mouth center. Excellent!

These were a big hit! I added more lemon zest and had to up the baking time to about 30 minutes, as well. Will definitely make these again.

Tangy Lemon Bliss under a blanket of powdered sugar snow...Two small alterations...I took out 1/4 cup of flour in the cookie base and replaced with an equal amount of chopped pecans...I used a full 1/2 cup of lemon juice instead of the approximate 1/3 cup...I will never use another lemon bar recipe again...Yum, Yum, Yum!

Just wonderful! I used a full teaspoon of zest because I freeze it in teaspoon sized lumps. Easy to put together. And, they are lovely to look at. I'm thinking about adding these to my holiday cookie list. Heavenly! Thanks.

Those of you who have read my posts know that I am in love with my Microplane Zester, and am constantly on the lookout for recipes calling for orange or lemon zest. I think I found THE RECIPE!!! I actually made two batches of these bars, one using lemon zest and the other with orange zest. Both came out amazing. The only change I made to the recipe was to up the amount of zest to about 1 tablespoon, and it was a good move! At 350 degrees I found that 25 minutes wasn't enough to set the lemon/orange curd and it was a bit runny, so I left it in there for about 33 minutes, and it was perfect. Thanks, Mean Chef, for helping me achieve zest nirvana!
