Lemon Barbecued Chicken

- 2⁄3 cup lemon juice
- 1⁄3 cup cider vinegar
- 1⁄3 cup oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 1⁄2 - 4 lbs cut-up chicken
directions
- Mix all ingredients, except chicken, to make marinade. Set aside 1/4 cup for basting.
- Put chicken & marinade in resealable bag. Refrigerate overnight. Turn in the morning.
- When coals are ready (medium heat), grill the chicken, covered for 45 minutes or until done. Turn and baste every 10 minutes.
