This is a great ham casserole. I am always looking for recipes to use up leftovers. I made this recipe exactly as stated, and it came out delicious. Thanks!

Great recipe. I made a few changes since I needed to make it for 8. I only used 2 cups broccoli (instead of 4 - kids don't like broccoli so not easy to disguise), 2 cups cheese (instead of 3), omitted the water and used organic 2% milk (added whole wheat flour later and cooked an additional 10 min. to thicken sauce) instead of the 2 cans low-fat cream of mushroom soup. Also used whole wheat macaroni. Everyone liked it so will definitely make it again.

This was a great recipe. I made a few substitutions: penne pasta instead for macaroni, green beans and corn for broccoli. Then I topped the casserole with bread crumbs for an au gratin dish. Even my very picky husband enjoyed it.

Delicious way to use up the leftover Christmas ham and veggie tray! My 11 year old couldn't get enough of it. The only changes I made were milk instead of water, and four chopped green onions instead of one regular onion. I wasn't sure about the macaroni quantity, so I measured 1-1/2 cups dry macaroni, then I cooked it. It turned out perfect. Enjoy! Dilemmo

HOW GOOD WAS THIS? I'm making it twice in 4 days!! It was very, very tasty with the mushroom soup. I used a 2 qt. round Pyrex bowl and it had plenty of room for the ingredients and was perfect for 2 people. I also added splashes of hot sauce for our taste. The 2nd time I'm making it with cauliflower since I ran out of broccoli. I'm sure it'll work just as good. Thanks for a wonderful recipe that I'll make over and over.

EASY EASY EASY! This was as easy as 1, 2, 3. Could not have asked for an easier recipe. It tasted good and I think the vegetables could be very versatile. Next time will probably add some steamed carrots and cauliflower. My family and I had some left over ham from Easter and did not want it to go to waste, we are sure glad we found this recipe. This will be a future reference recipe for when we have left over ham. Thanks for a wonderful dish!

Very tasty. Maybe a little too much onion.

This is a tasty way to use up leftover ham. Had all the ingredients on hand to make this quick and satisfying dish. I did use a combination of Velveeta and cheddar cheeses which worked out well. The only addition I made was a few drops of hot sauce to give it a little spark.

Had been looking for a long time for a recipe to use up leftover ham. This really turned out nice. I chopped up fresh broccoli pretty small so it would cook in the casserole. I used a powdered cheese packet from a macaroni & cheese dinner (I use these often for "other" recipes) as well as the pasta. I also included some finely chopped celery. I added half soup can of milk and a dollop of butter. I didn't put the shredded cheese in. We really enjoyed it. Good comfort food. Will make again. Thank you.

This was great. I used cream of celery because that was all I had and broiled the cheese on top to get it extra crispy the way I like it. It's just too bad I don't have leftover ham more often. **UPDATE** I've made this as many times as I've had leftover ham and have made it slightly differently every time and it's always been awesome. I've used sliced american cheese slices when I didn't have enough shredded cheese and I've used shredded "cheese product" from holiday gift baskets in a pinch. I think it actually turned out better since it melts so well. I have to make a double batch so we have enough for leftovers and there's only 2 of us.

This was really good. I love baked ham but always have too much left over. I'll never wonder how to use it again. My husband said it was "really tasty". That's high praise from him. I did use cream of celery and "full fat" everything because it was what I had but it was still great. We will be enjoying this again.

Anything I go back for seconds on automatically gets 5 stars. I used full fat soup and cheese. I mixed all of the cheese into the casserole (nothing on top). I cooked the onions in butter first. I'm surprised there are not more 5 star ratings on this one.

This was really tasty! My son doesn't normally like ham, but this was perfect for that leftover New Year's ham. Followed recipe/side salad and used other reviewers' suggestions and it turned out great! My son had 2 helpings! Trick was to cube ham into really small pieces and keep it creamy with soup and water.

This recipe was perfect for my leftover ham/broccoli/cheese. I did saute the onions a bit and my cheese was cubed. Delicious. :)

My husband & kids all loved this! I substituted the broccolie with california blend frozen veggies and it was quite tasty. The only thing I'd change would be to saute the onions a bit first.

After I saw the pictures that Chef Marsha D took of this recipe, I knew I had to try it.And,I'm glad I did :).I had to use full fat products since that's all I had,and used a cream chicken and herbs soup( I don't really care for cream of mushroom).I wasn't sure when or where to add the water, so I added it when mixing the rest of the casserole ingredients.Instead of sprinkling the pepper on the top,I added it to the mix. Sprinkled a little more cheese over the top before baking.Baked it for about 35 minutes, since I like my casseroles with a golden brown crunchy topping.I served this casserole with Cracker Barrel Baby Carrots which made a great side dish for this recipe. This will be made again, thank you for posting.
